Project Description

LACHEL FELICE & Associates, Inc. (LF&A) for the SSC under a multi-year contract to provide ongoing services in the area of geotechnical and construction engineering.

Scope of Services

LF&A's primary assignment involved the review of available geotechnical data and translation of that information into a constructibility evaluation and a detailed, "contractor" type cost estimate which was used as a check estimate of the entire project. The detailed estimate was originally significantly different than the original estimates but proved to be extremely accurate when compared to the actual bids received during construction. Considering the size of the project and the competition to be a part of such a large undertaking, LFA was proud of its participation and significant contribution.
